Mike Ceresia

Mike Ceresia is a retired former racquetball player from Sarnia, ON. He was a member of five Canadian teams that won gold at the Racquetball World Championships, which is the most gold medals won by a Canadian at the International Racquetball Federation (IRF) World Championships. Ceresia represented Canada on 18 occasions between 1988 and 2002, including eight consecutive World Championships during that period. His lowest finish at the World Championships was fourth. Ceresia was a member of Team Canada at the 1995 Pan Am Games when racquetball made its debut at the Games as a sport. He represented Canada proudly, winning a silver medal in the Men’s Team Event. From 1985 to 2003, Ceresia had 21 podium finishes at the Canadian Championships in Open Singles and Open Doubles events. He held the Canadian Open Doubles title eight times and the Canadian Open Singles title twice. In 1997, Ceresia won both the singles and doubles title in the same year.
