The Ontario Sports Hall of Fame has officially added six sport legends. Their outstanding achievements in sport are well documented and their election to the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame is richly deserved.
2026 Ontario Sports Hall of Fame Inductees
- Jennifer Botterill – Hockey
- Jonathon Power – Squash
- Ron Francis – Hockey
- Terry McLaughlin – Sailing
- Mike Keenan – Hockey
- Patrick Chan – Figure Skating
Included in the Class of 2026, the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame will be inducting five
recipients with special awards.

- Bob McKenzie – Brian Williams Media Award
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – Syl Apps 2025 Ontario Athlete of the Year
- Chatham Coloured Allstars – Conacher Family Heritage Award
- Jays Care Foundation – Sandy Hawley Community Service Award
The “Class of 2026” will be honoured at the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Community Celebration in Toronto at The Granite Club on October 15, 2026.
